Charlie that was indeed a very nice and thoughtful thing that you and the family did. It would have been very emotional for you all especially when the grandweans let go the balloons.
It would also have been nice for you all to spend that time together and i am sure Maureen would be pleased about that.

Have just seen this thread, and it was Cockenzie street. I knew Janey as she went to school with me and Randy went to school with my brother. The family were related to the belshaws
They were not in the house that long, and i am sure that there was a kid in the house at the time.
I remember at the time reading that it was caused by drying a pair of trousers at a fire. Such a terrible tragedy.

I too Charlie thought that his Mum, Dad and sister should have been on the program to hear what and how they are coping. My heart went out to his stepson Mason, it was very obvious that he adored Gazza and still does. I loved him tae bits when he played for the Gers It is very sad indeed what has become of him i can't help but have pity on him and his family and i do think that his life will soon be at an end, then maybe his poor family will be able to get on with their lives. It really is a shame.

Charlie, i do feel for you as your wee dog becomes part of the family.
I have a wee yorkie and have had him for 13yrs, and the poor wee soul is on as many tablets as the vet can give him, he has heart problems and also a tumor in his stomach, he been like that for a couple of years now and the vet say he can't believe he is still here. He follows me about the house every where, my family and friends say they have never seen a dog so faithful, but he is my wean and i love him to bits and know that one day i will have to think of the inevitable and it breaks my heart to even think about it.
