i,d say they probaly are different trotsky too much drug culture out there nowadays, and the respect for the auld yins has gone oot the windie, and theres not as much pub culture going on these days and could you imagine what it would of been like in the auld days if we,d had mobile phones, and aw these fangdangled playstation games some of wid never of went oot we could unleash aw oor violence on oor wii or ps2 . ;D i can remember at 16, 17. and nearly 18 sitting listening to all my auld heros in the pub at brigton cross the mermaid and dominion and majuka telling aw there fighting stories, these guys were in there 40s and 50s and my mates wid sit and play dominoes wi them i went back for a visit years later, guess what they were still telling the same tales and my mate was still sitting playing dominoes wi them nae wonder i got out of brigton , i remember questioning maself saying theres got to be something better than this. and ye know what there is and its called the world and am still exploring it 35 years on ;D

"wee gang eh i,ll bet you,ve sang we are the brigton derry at ibrox pal, ye,s aw want tae be in our crew," naw Pitbull, when we sang it at Ibrox it belonged tay everybody, no some daft wee boys in short trousers running about Brigton X, it was what the big boys sang at the fiba tay show their support fur the Rangers, its like we all sang heart and hand and sword and shield but it didnay mean we wanted to stand on Derry's walls way a sword and shield, just like we didnay want tay be part of your wee gang ;D so why chant the songs we used tae laugh at aw you,s bams chanting we are the brigton derry when we stood between 13 and 16 and aw you choobs cheukters and outsiders giving it large, derrys walls as well why sing it if you dont mean it. like my wee mate quotes in lisburn one day proddies.

feck you, so big colie campbell and bill and hookie and aw us crew wore short troosers aye a long time before you ya choob. and i,ve walked derrys walls and wouldve done so if i,d of been around in 1688 wi a sword an sheild no surrender :-*and aw the way tae parkheid cross right alang shettleson road and back again its aw right chasing weans at 13 years old but they didnae try nought when we took over there supporters bus the mermaid boys ruled supreme ;D so get it up yer jumper ya bam ;D the elpaso the bristol and any of yer buses ye,s shared wi the mermaid, powery and weemen up yer kilt pal,= ;D

A suppose if ye were chased as much as Pitbull (and his wee gang) then it all feels the same wee gang eh i,ll bet you,ve sang we are the brigton derry at ibrox pal, ye,s aw want tae be in our crew, ;D coz we,re simply the best. by the way aw kidding aside the biggest crew i knew in my day in glesga was the govan team, then there was the cumbie they were a big crew too and our crew dwindled as they knocked brigton down and everyone moved to pastures new, scattered to the four winds.

Yer right enough Trotsky it is just that oor Pitbull has done that much duckin and diving in his time he is getting a wee bit confused wi' who he was trying to hide fae. Haw Pitbull you are talking about the Parkheid Termy and not the Parkheid Wee Men who hung aboot Connetta's Chippy at MacDuff Street and used tae chase ye. ;D i always thought the termy and wee men were the same crew, and trotsky i didnae ask tae stay in parkheid it was a matter of having to because thats where my grandfaither stayed and when aw they parkheid punters went tae bernie school we,d beat them up so they,d be really brave and mob handed start on one guy on there lonesome, but they never try,d any of that courageous stuff like that down the toll.

we favoured the song we are the brigton derry ftp and the..... you know the rest, and who,s the derry we,re the derry etc , i often sang them myself oot loud but nabody knew the hell what i was singing in the streets of west londons greenford a stone throw fae wembley, well 10 minutes on a 92 bus, although i sprayed a few walls all over london wi brigton derry graffitti when i was hm let me think ..... 49 haha no 18 and daft, still daft but huv tae be a good roll model to my wee boy, he loves my loyalist cds though. and we,ve got toffy neighbours too they never unnerstawn a word am saying at the residents association meetings, i say old chap, doctors vets lawyers snooker players and a wee brickie right in the middle and we,ll show them how tae fight hello hello ;D ;D ;D ahve got my flag wi the st georges cross orange background and purple star ready for this year 12th tae annoy aw the snobby bassarts it took them 3 years just to say hello and that was to say i say what a lovely job youve done of your garden, it took me 2 years continuios work to do it and a few thousand bricks now it looks like derrys walls ;D keep oot, its good for keeping oot the jehovahs witnesses that are always trying to convert, nae chance Haw PitBull it seems to me you are developing a siege mentality...I am sitting here gutting masel at the idea of Brigton Derry sprayed all over the Tube in London. ;D

anybody remember aldo fae the derry he was a right comedian. big alan berry big aldo used tae like to dance around celtic supporters buses that made the mistake of passing the toll at the mermaid, a couple of buses came around the corner and were caught in traffic, and the whole crew came out the mermaid after we ran in and told them CELTIC BUSES CELTIC BUSES ;D there was certain derryboys wi hatchets caving aw the windows in lead by big bill campbell the leader of the derry in them days, it was funny at the time but looking back in hindesight , a disgusting act, you live and learn as ye get older, so hence the song one day at brigton cross some celtic buses try,d to pass, and all you could hear was the sound of broken glass. we were on the receiving end of a brick coming through our bus one day in the gorbals and its a terrifying experiance what goes round comes round pure thuggery and stupidity.

Does anyone remember Orr Street. My Gran lived there after her family was all grown up and married. She lived in Maryhill, Tobago Street back to Maryhill and then to Orr street. It is Orr street I remember. It was a wee single end with toilet on the stairs, hated using that toilet, newspaper torn in wee squares for toilet paper, big chain to flush and a great big giant key to open the door. When we stayed with her she would send us to the shops for things like 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 4 potatoes. But we always had lots of baked goods as my uncle Norrie had a bakery on Orr street. She would also send us to place a wee bet for her (her one vice) but not to the bookies seem to remember going up another close Also remember Abercrombie Street but not sure if some of the family lived there or it was just talked about. remember orr street well walked doon it everyday tae get tae my work on broad street tae andrew smith plasterers and my wee girlfriend worked in the wee cafe trudies cafe in orr street and the back door tae the pictures was in orr street, and the entrance tae the wee snug in the seven ways pub where me and my wee burd used tae dae aw oor winching, they big keys ye mentioned wur called locking keys ye never seen them anywhere exept glesga as far as i can remember,
