i was speaking to a few of the waafs at whitehall there were some proud women there and a few great characters, last year sadly we,ve all got to die and their numbers have dwindled rapidly this past few years they were right next to us at the whitehall parade before we (the ulster special constabulary association) B specials and in front of us in green blazers were the RUC in green blazers same badge as us slightly different wording, it made the hairs on the back of yer neck stand up as we marched past the cenotaph and the commander cry,d out eyes left, as we finished there was a lone piper playing his pipes, when he saw us after we fell out he played the sash on his pipes gave us a laugh.
