Saturday 7th feb 1925 Tollcross cricket club have written to the parks committee of Glasgow Council suggesting that a cricket pitch be laid out on Tollcross park ,The sub committee on recreation have agreed to recommend that the director be autherised to lay out the cricket pitch

Talking to Ian today he remembers lots of cricket clubs in the west end of Glesga so it seems Glesga had a big cricket following.
