I had the occasion last week to visit the grave of a Falklands Veteran who is buried in the cemetery. I was absolutely ashamed at the state of the general condition of the graveyard with gravestones turned over and litter and broken bottles all over the place. I will be writing to the City Council regards this and hope to get some sort of action city wide to the state of our cemeteries...Lest We Forget we say, it seems it is a case of Le's Just Forget nowadays.

Was there at the beginning of April this year, and was looking for the Grave of my Father Henry Mutter, should have been on the Hallhill road side, but now I think it was more down near the new houses, As I was there I was looking more in the direction of Glasgow and there are a lot of graves from the first world war

It seems according to last night's Evening Times that an Asian is at least making the effort to clean up the cemetery which is a step in the right direction in regards to the cemeteries in this city.

I have an old certificate which was my Grandma's and I found out that I can be buried there when I die. She bought the 'lair' in the 1930's.

My uncle, sister, granny and aunt are all buried there in the one lair we also placed my dads ashes in the grave to be near my sister. The lair would have been purchased in the mid 60s'
