Glad you like the photie adaline - I will see what else I have for yoos in my pictures folder Liked your wee memory of the lovely shoes - and your thoughtful wee mammy - mines wis the same I also had a 'thing' for shoes when young - and always stopped to gaze in the windows of the shoe shops.. Timpsons, Easiefiit, and the other right up Dalmarnock Road. Great shops we had there eh?

another nice yin for ye cherlie dear.. I recently bought an original copy of that postcard Alice...I haven't put it on here as yet as I am busy rebuilding all the topics and will add it later along with the other crackers I have of Bridgeton Cross. ;D

I have been looking for a photo of Marquis St for ages as this is where my dad came from, I would be very grateful if anyone had one if you could post it on here or e.mail it to me.
Sorry I know this thread is Bridgeton Cross but didn't know where to put this.
