Surprised and disappointed to see no comments even after 2 years. This was the friendliest lodge I`ve ever been in. Not just because it`s my mother lodge, but made up, mainly, of east end working class men. Been in many lodges around the world, but we only have one mother.
Regards, Davie.

Morto, What does dropping in on a Sunday mean? (I know what it means) Has the social club become a pub-like affair. I don`t condemn this situation as I know it`s a good source of income. I`m planning a visit to theUK next year and would love to visit 441. What are the `opening hours`? Are families allowed? Would appreciate some info. Davie.

Davie i dont think children are allowed into the club,it is very seldom open out with meeting nights, there is a lodge in the process of leaving stevenson st & moving to lodge eastmuir"s hall (shettleston rd)to hold their meetings on a friday night..so mote it be.
