Runs from 1251 Duke Street to Hart Street. The section from Backcauseway to Hart Street was previously known as Collier's Row.
At numbers 19/21 stood a warehouse, built in 1896 for John Fleming, provision merchant.
At number 134 stood a stables, built in 1907 for Alexander Hart, cartage contractors.
At number 226 stood the Parkhead Boiler Works, premises of Muir & Findlay, boilermakers.

Also a main gate for A, E, and I shop for the Parkhead Forge. Nisbet Street that ran down to the gate would be chock a block with men stremming out and heading up to Westmuir Street from when the horn sounded at 4.45, my Dad amongst them.
