Runs from Fielden Street to Yate Street and is named after the Mountblue Pottery which stood in the vicinity. The pottery itself took its name from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, where the founder had spent some time.
At number 64 stood Barrowfield Park, home of Bridgeton Waverley Football Club. It was built in 1927 and remained in use until around 1939, when it was demolished to make way for Barrowfield housing scheme.
They then moved to New Barrowfield Park which many of us will know as Celtic's Training Ground & Social Club out by the old Belvidere Hospital and West-thorn Park entrance.
