Ran from 937 London Road to Law Street, now altered. At number 27 stood Barrowfield Primary School, built around 1876.
At number 50 stood a works, premises of Daniel Clark, ropemakers.

Edna Savage from fraser st married Terry Dene the singer in the fifties. fraser st is spelt with an S. there was a frazer st in the gallowgate, next to hunter & clark where the jet petrol station was.

ma auld autie Nellie said that round the back of Fraser st there were low houses set back from Barrowfield st, they were never there when I was growing up in the 50s though canny mind them. You might well be right there Calamity as I remember playing around those backs as a wean and there were some signs of buildings being there previously...they would have been traditional Glasgow backlands of single or two storey buildings. Perhaps a quicl look at the old maps from the 1880's would verify it for you...
