Runs off 394 Westmuir Street, and is named after Queen Caroline.
Near to its junction with Muiryfauld Drive stood the Caroline Coal Pit. The east end of Glasgow was awash with coal mines and pits in the 18th and 19th centuries, but many of them disappeared with the onset of industrialisation, when the east end became a hive of activity with factories, foundries etc.
At number 16 stands the Carntyne Rope and Twine Works, built in 1890 for H. Winning & Co, who are active to this day.
At number 116 a husband attempted to murder his wife at their home by striking her with an axe on the 16th of April 1966.
