A one close street with two houses at street level just off the London Road named after the castle of the same name in the Clyde Valley which belonged to Lord Newlands.

It ran from 1055 London Road to Barrwofield Street, and was named after Mauldslie Castle in Lanarkshire, which was the ancestral seat of Lord Newlands, whose father James Hozier owned lands in the area.
