I have started spending a lot of time back in the Mitchell Library and I am amazed at the amount of folk who share the same mobile tune as myself. On Saturday at least three of us had the sound of "Penny Arcade" shattering the silence of the Glasgow Room. In fact I have met a good few Rangers men in recent years in the Mitchell all doing research on various aspects of the clubs history. The fact that many of them are young lads who are keen history researchers who are turning up all sorts of facts and figures from Rangers' past is to be praised and encouraged. I have actually got most of them searching for Bridgeton Waverley stuff as well. On Saturday last I was allowed access to an original bound volume of the Glasgow Eastern Standard from 1960 and the difference between the original and the normal microfiche is incredible. We really do not appreciate what we have in the Mitchell...
