I used to go every Saturday morning to the Three Ps, I think I started to use jam jars as entry money but later I think it was a tanner to get in. I seem to remember singing "The Lambeth Walk" as well as the ABC Minors song with the other kids there
I also well remember well after there had been a Cowboy fillum on, racing and running back home to Palace Street smackin ma backside along the way as if I was riding a horse! ;D ;D ;D

Went to the ABC minors at the ABC, at the corner of Edinburgh Rd and Cumbernauld Rd (where the car showroom is now). Remember the badges we got were fluorescent and shone in the dark. Vaguely remember the ABC song, but definitely remember getting pelted by the kids up in the balcony (sweets, popcorn, ginger) if you were in the stalls! Remember there always being a cliffhanger in the film, so you were bursting to go back the next week to see how the hero escaped.

Muso, It wis called the Rex. Loved the Sat. mornings. There was an embankment from the bridge on Ediburgh Rd. where we used to play " Best falls " Oh happy times. Davie. Right enough Davie - beginning to see how my ma gets mixed up recalling things from 70 years ago.......! Don't see how I could've forgotten that! Used to hang about the old rail lines on our bikes (tracks and sleepers gone). Used to play fitba on the spare ground behind the Vogue. You could climb the hill and come out behind the billboard between the Vogue and the Rex. Great days indeed! Thanks Muso
