Used to watch the powery and goucho killing each other in my street where the clenny used to be saw young guy of 19 shot dead another 5 seriously injured with gunshot wounds it was said it was a UDA hitman who came over after a Rangers pub in duke st was attacked.Know all the big familys that had the respect of others back in the 70s and 80s. Drink was taken then the gangs hunted for a victim anybody would do but as the 80s ended going into the 90s drugs took over and took more lives than guns or knives. The powery live on but back in the 70s they were massive they had guys coming from ruchazie low end ziggy gang and eaterhouse bal toi they came from all over as the powery were in duke st 80% Rangers fans going down to celtic park they attacked police, celtic fans and Rangers fans who shouted rival gang names. So many murdered by the powery and goucho it was all out war .
