An excellent book by John Gorevan. Mr. Gorevan a tee totaller has done a great deal of research into the history of many of Glasgow's pubs and hostelries which have sadly mostly disappeared. Some excellent features on several east end pubs.

There are but you will have to buy the book as there is no room on here to discuss arty farty pubs up the West End I am afraid...we are only intersested in real 'mans mans pubs hen' fae the East End.

Im no interested in the Arty Farty pubs either , Just meant the West of the city particulary Anderston / Partick.

Any picture from the Old Ship Bank, which is owned from Frankie Hyslop, who lived in the Eastend, first got to know him and his younger brother Brian in Glenisla St CU oorwullie

Bye for now, Norrie am no sure norrie i used tae stay in partick for a few months before we moved back to main street and that was the local pub ;Daye and it was just before ye go under the bridge at partick near the railway yer right, ye,d be better asking me about pubs in ealing west london i drank in the aw ;D
