Carol I wish I had a pound for everyone who has made enquiries directly to me ever since I mentioned the Watson Trust in my 'Old Parkhead book...I'd be a rich man.

I think the Watson tenement is the one on Westmuir Street at Parkhead Cross, with the busts of the family set into the stonework.

Just checked the 1913 Valuation Rolls and the Watson family definately owned the tenement at Westmuir Street, as well as many other properties in the area.

Very interesting! I've just emailed this to my cousins who are Watsons. They're dad (now deceased) was married to my mum's sister. He was adopted at birth by a family by the name of Watson and brought up in Parkhead.
