What coat of arms is the badge...plus the cap badges are the Cameronians and the Highland Light Infantry and what I believe to be the Royal Artillery.

Charlie, another forum of which I am a member discussed membership of the Boys Brigade while back, mainly about who was in what and where. I checked again after reading this thread and could only find reference to 37th (Ruchazie) company, and 20th (Motherwell). Nearest I could find to 113, was 111 (Baillieston). I will do further research elswhere and see if something turns up. I was a member of 183 company (Blackfriars church) Dennistoun. No military rellevance except our minister Rev Laurie who I think may have served in HLI. An interesting aside, I met him many years later when the RHF was in Gibralter to prevent the dictator Franco from getting any ideas after closing the border in 1968. Rev Laurie was then the minister of St Andres CoS Gibraltar. (small world eh?) Ronnie

Just a thought, I was in the Lifeboys in the 50s and have the number 113 in mind, we met in the Methodist church where we had out school dinners when I was at Newlands. I left the 113 and joined the 67th probably around 1957 and before I moved to Castlemilk in 1958. Another reason 113 sticks in mind is that that was the RAF Squadron my Dad was in during the war.
PS My mind is playing me up I am sure it was the 132 now and not 113! sorry about that! - I'm allowed a senior moment on here I am sure ;D

I believe 81et was originally from the Kelvinside area before disbanding. The 81st company was certainly raised again and based in Castlemilk from the late 1950s to early 1970s at the Lloyd Morris Church
