I know how he felt as I have the same feelings re Flower of Scotland...it used to be a great song when it was first penned but now it is nothing more than a dirge which just gets on my tits whenever I hear it - other than sung with great gusto at a rugby International.

maybe dont even ken (or care) who oor Rabble wiz Anyhow I find I have amongst my memorabilia a Robert Burns plate that looks exact same as the one bottom third from end. (post 64.) Mitchell Library It hung on our recess wall (Bridgeton) for many years. My dad loved Burns work was a member of the Bridgeton Burns Club

The L on the LUVE statue to Burns down at Brigton Cross has been smashed, but i suppose you know about it Charlie. I can only surmise that the L has been pushed over by some of the Brigton Ned Boys...as it was solid enough when I took this photo last Wednesday afternoon.

mcgoo, is this the one they would have been working on in 2009? if so we visited it and were very impressed. Unfortunately the Tam o Shanter presentation was very poor, but as I say, it was a work in progress. It was brilliant for me as I had never visited that area before, much to my shame. We did the whole thing
