I have been reading books by Alex Grey detective novels based in Glasgow the last one I read was about a murder connected to a football club and their nick name was the Keelies

if you like thrillers with a great twist at the end i recomend whisper who dares by terance strong followed by his next 2 the fifth hostage and conflict of lions they are a trilogy have read them countless times

I'm a real Lee Child fan, his books on the character Jack Reacher are page turners.
Disappointed to recently learn that Tom Cruise is to play Reacher in a movie adaptation on 'One Shot'.
He is too pretty boy and has nothing like the physique of the character Reacher. Big sell out to appease Hollywood.

I have read a couple of Ian Rankin's but really couldn't get into them will try again...I prefer Peter Robinson have read all but one (the new book) of his DCI Alan Banks series off hand I think 24-25 books.

Read all the Rebus books so am happy to read there is a new one. Thought Rankin had finished with him. Happy to see there is a new one. Not reached our shores yet though
