Never fear folks guess who is joining the Glesga Club fitness classes at the Velodrome next week...yours truly. And once the stamina levels are re-introduced I am getting on my bike and peddling like a mad man around that velodrome track. I'm there all the time so I'll probably bump into you sometime

It may be in the best interest of us all and the long term future of the Keelies Board if we were to do away with the Glesga Keelies Too board...I will see how it will fit in with the new web-site I am working on. I can still get into Keelies Too so if anyone has left anything behind of any value just let me know and I'll get it for you before the demolition ;D

paddygategirl.... i met neil lennon outside parkhead on 2 occassions (1)with a mate( who has the best gers pub anywere)who was doing a charity nite to raise funds to buy electric wheelchairs, neil lennon was approached & we spoke away to him & my mate explained wot he was doing, neil went into the ground returned about 10mins later with every 1st tean players top to raffle,he was invited to visit the pub anytime he wanted, thats the character of the guy, (2)about 1yr later i was outside the stadium waiting to pick up tops from TB for another charity nite i was having for kids with special needs neil lennon came & spoke to me told him wot i was doing again he donated tops for the auction, dropped me of at the louden tavern gave me £20 for a beer, turned up on the nite unexpected did the raffle & gave a large donation for the cause, on the both charity nites all the money went to rc,children, but this season he has let himself down big time,no person should go thru the ordeal he has had to suffer.....end of story.... I've always known Neil Lennon was a good guy ;D Don't agree with you though about him letting himself down this season though Andy as I have told you before you do not need to explain yourself to anyone on this board .. You're right Charlie, Andy aka thecaltondefender doesn't have to explain himself to anyone on this board or anywhere else for that matter, however just reading the last post gives me a whole different impression of him. My boyfriend, who I've said before is like a fenian equivalent of yourself, collects a lot for charity and like Andy he obtains both Celtic and Rangers tops and footballs for raffles, he has even been known to go to charity nights in the Calvey Club I do believe I'm softening towards the caltondefender, even him calling me paddygategirl hasn't annoyed me as much. Must be our mutual love of Neil Lennon Now I just have to work on you............

I thought i had logged into a Celtic forum yesterday, and had wondered why nobody had congratulated Rangers on their win last week. So may i also congratulate Rangers for winning the league cup and Celtic for winning the Scottish cup. You were reading the thread "Celtic Football Club" ;D I did actually mention Rangers in it Just as a world record 54th league win by Rangers also has great historic interest.

"Dummy irish", you just can't help yourself can you I would say a record 35th Scottish Cup win for Celtic does have historic interest and should quite rightly be on this thread. Just as a world record 54th league win by Rangers also has great historic interest.

Now that the fitba season is officially over I will be erasing the vast majority of posts listed on here as they are becoming rather predictable and heading down the same route as the similar postings re the Old Firm on the GP's and GG's board... I agree Charlie, it does become rather tedious however you cannot expect to slag off one of the Glasgow teams and for it to go unchallenged Motherwell 0-3 Celtic a record 35th Scottish cup win for CELTIC. Oh , whoopee doo! Are you sure you aren't the Border Collie in disguise as you are certainly beginning to act like him. The latest tirade seems to have started after an innocuous remark by Patrick which was then followed by you and your buddy giving it the usual "plastic paddy" and "we hate Neil Lennon" insults. You are your own worst enemy for these threads going off tangent ;D

I remember years ago reading a story in one of the music papers of how he grew up above a newsagent shop in Highgate and he and his brother had their bedroom walls covered in Rangers photos back in the 1950's. We all did daft things when we were young Charlie, didn't we But Rod and I grew out of them ;D

Heard a while back about the collector who contributed the Celtic memorabilia to Opus was given a free book, rightly so in my opinion as it cost nearly 2 grand to buy, I know of that guy from another board and he was given a free copy. He has posted many photos of his collection on the site. Don't think it can be the same guy calton defender is friends with though cos I've never seen him post a bad word about Neil Lennon

Well said Gallowgategal ive yet tae meet a Celtic fan whose no happy wae Neil Lennon. Strange that...I have met and know dozens of them who are definitely hoping he isn't given a contract. Oh well unlucky for them, just seen it oan sky hes getting a contract and a long one according to Dermot Desmond. ;D ;D ;D I am led to believe the above was arranged by Rod Stewart, probably not a "genuine" fan but certainly not a "plastic paddy"

you just have to listen to genuine fans who think he is an embarrassment just like the Barnes/Dalglish double act & not the plastic paddy"s who dwell on the paddygate & have their own agenda What a lot of crap you talk. There may be some fans who are not 100% behind Neil Lennon, the same who are never happy, but are you trying to say out of the thousands of fans who chant his name at matches, hundreds who gave him a standing ovation at the Celtic Rally, and many who I keep company with are not "genuine" fans You also seem obsessed with "paddygate" why on earth can't you be happy with your own team's achievements and stop going on about your hatred of "plastic paddies" etc....... Oh, and hail, hail

Anyway, back to the thread.................. as a consequence of the incidents Neil Lennon has been subjected to recently, he has been advised by Peter Lawwell to take his family away for a few days. Unfortunately, but understandably, this means he will not be making the usual appearance, along with first team players, at The Celtic Rally I am going to tonight I am sure that Caterina and myself will not be the only ones there missing his presence Hope you and Caterina had a good night at the rally my family had a table for 10 but must have forgot about me, must be working on rotation as me and my wife were invited last year. Hi Tollcross, thanks, as Caterina says we had a great time. We were on one of the Dennistoun No.1 CSC tables. It was a really good turnout and we were lucky to get tickets however got them through my friend and her family who are very invoved in all things Celtic. Re Neil Lennon, he received several standing ovations and there was much chanting of his name in a show of appreciation at the rally. Tom Boyd was the guest of honour and paid great tributes to Neil. All profits of the rally this year went to The Good Child Foundation in memory of Reamonn Gormley whose family members were there, must admit I was quite "overcome with emulsion" Maybe we'll see you at a future rally

You never missed a rammy Anne... That's okay then, would have hated that ;D I know from clicking into other boards that some people hang on to every word which is said on here when it comes to religious, fitba and other under-lying matters... Right, *taps nose knowingly* "What goes on in the keelies, stays in the keelies" That is except when a certain webmaster meets a certain poster's nephew and discusses the spillage of a soft drink over the keyboard belonging to one of the Magdalene Sisters

How much more is this man expected to take? No-one that I can recall in football has ever been subjected to such vehement hatred and we all know it has actually nothing to do with the game of football. To be assaulted on the touchline is beyond my understanding - where was the security at Tynecastle that this moron was able to get close enough to punch Neil Lennon on the head? Thankfully he did not have a weapon or the outcome could have been much worse. Yes I know Neil is passionate and finds it hard to hide his feelings when perhaps he should, but to my mind he does a remarkable job of keeping himself in check when you look at the vile abuse he has to put up with constantly. I hope he doesn't throw in the towel but who could blame him. All I will say on this subject to you all is, be careful what you say as this could escalate into 'the biggest what aboutery' posting we have ever had on here. I have deliberately tried to avoid the topic of Mr.Lennon on here as I always notice whenever there is anything controversial going on concerning him we seem to get a larger than normal group of guests clicking onto the board. Well I am sorry to disappoint you folks but you will not get any 'ammo' here so get back under your bricks from whence yese crawled oot of... or back to your own wee bigoted web-sites that you normally frequent. If this cannot be discussed in an orderly manner it will be deleted... Have I missed a rammy here between 3:36pm and 3:55pm Damn having to work, I miss all the fun
