Finished reading the Books today, everything was explained in great detail. I always had the feeling we were reincarnated, now I am convinced! Wonderful reading!

Reading the first book, very interesting, but will take me a while to get through it, so many facts and details to absorb, I can only read so much at a time.

Well folks at the risk of giving myself a coronary we battled through this morning despite the wind and rain and other wee trials and tribulations which are sent to test us on such occasions...but we got there in the end. A good turn out of several hundred locals and a deputation from the Royal Highland Fusilier Veterans courtesy of our Blue Ron and friends. Members of the Gordon Highlanders 1914/18 Living History Group plus local MSP Frank McAveety , Counclillors George Redmond and Alison Thewliss , local schooldren and the Bridgeton Cross VC Group and not forgetting Me. What great photos, really brings it home! Charlie ye'r one in a million! x

It's 10.15am, and I hope the Remembrance Service gets a good turn out. Nice to think of such a lovely tribute to everyone who fought for our freedom, being held at Bridgeton Cross. Jean
