I think it also comes from something I read in a book relating to the slave trade although I'm not hundred per cent sure maybe someone else will know exactly. Pitbull I remember well Colin Stein playing for the Ger's in fact my friend called her son after him and he's 27 now, where have the years gone I even remember Derek Johnston making his debut as well I really feel auld at times . p aye i remember colin stein well myself peggy and saw him score 2 hat tricks and a deuce on his debut, and derek johnston at hampden aged 16 scored against the tic with a cracker of a header, we even made a song about it, to the same tune as ghost riders in the sky hippy yi ye glasgow rangers are here to stay, the goal was scored by the rangers number nine, ;D and my mates brother alec named his son derek johnstone mcculley ;D Moved this post by Pitbull from the Glesga Keelies postings

Talking about Rangers songs, you reminded me of one of the first songs I learned when I was very, very young.
While my mum was teaching me to sing 'At the end of the day, just kneel and pray....'
My dad taught me:
Oh Charlie Shaw he never saw, Where Alan Morton kicked the ba' He kicked the ba' intae the net and Charlie Shaw sat doon an' gret, Then he went hame an' telt his maw, Where Alan Morton Kicked the ba' (sung to the same tune as The Labour Party's 'Red Flag')

Rangers were rank rotten yesterday and have been for the last few months...if they win the League it will be the biggest miracle since Jesus changed the water into wine.
Just received the form today for the renewal of my season tickets for next season. I just don't think I can justify paying out a grand to watch this crap when I could pay for a wee holiday to New York or Boston with the dosh.

I take it the photo has been cropped. Fergie is actually second right in that shot. Third right is Ron McKinnon.
