Next door tae ma Granny in two up 16 Palace Street in the 40s & 50s (& 60s ah think) was Mr & Mrs Wylie. They had a daughter Betty who married Bert Leishman and they had a daughter Ann. In the late 40s /early 50s they emigrated tae Canada and had a son Billy but returned to Glasgow when Bert was killed (in a car accident?) Betty, Ann and Billy moved into Edmiston Street on their return. Ann (Leishman) must have gone to Newlands then Rivvie - maybe some of the other keelies remember her. I think Billy was at Newlands when I left Palace Street in 1958.
