the fanny boys ? never heard of them charlie are ye at the fanny or whit. Yes they were a gang from the 1930's from around the Slatefield Street area. I only read about them in the old Glasgow Eastern Standards quite recently in the Mitchell Library. They were responsible for causing a riot after a juvenile game at the Old Barrowfield Park of Bridgeton Waverley where they attacked the supporters of a team from Garngad. In the court case that followed they were described 'as a Protestant street gang from Slatefield and Whitevale Street area'...a shower of fhannies right enough...I kid you not Pitbull. ;D
