This would be between Vinegarhill Street and Croft Street, and had a childrens palyground attached. ?

How sad to see the wee park like that now. Many happy hours spent there and in the playground attached to it. OH Happy Days!

This old park was very popular in the early 60's before they put down the red blaze, there was the parkie's hut and raillings separating the grassed area from the swing park and there was an air raid shelter in the park next to the raillings on the gallowgate. You weren't allowed to play football, the parky made sure of that, i think i got barred a few times, heady days.
