I spent many a happy year at 47 delburn st the first close on the right just off janefield st, my uncle James mcleish stayed right across the road on dalreada st on the top floor, old mrs lawson stayed on the bottom right halfway down on the left hand side, stayed Jenny roy what a singer that woman was fantastic, she later married a man called alan mclaren, does anybody remember the armstrong,s or the mason,s sammy and his twin bro,john who lived on janefield st? ?? also on janefield st the same side as the cemetary was an old teacher from my primary newlands her name escapes me for the moment, but I know she was billy ritchie,s auntie does anybody remember? ?

I knew the Mcleish's well in Delburn Street did they have a son Charlie?, I also stayed across the road from Sammy and John Mason.

I Remember Linda and ann marie, ann marie married willie carlin, of the Grange,last i hear of linda was she moved to easterhouse.
