Hi Tam, Good to see the photos you put on. How do you do it? Wish there were people here who I went to school with. Jim(my brother) is trying to find some guys he went to school with too. Did find plenty on Friends Reunited though. Must tell my pal, Jean, about this site as she went to London Rd., Vicky

Charlie do you remember these? I think this was '74 as well. Am sorry it's only me in them but a wiz taking photos of you and vice versa. There is wan wae both of us but you've got that as it was your camera.(It'll be lying in a drawer somewhere wae the Barcelona wan). I was working in Belgium '85-'87 and that hotel was our digs, alth ough it had changed its name to the Yelton.

Davie I remember it well and I will post some of mine on here as soon as...it isn't easy running a board pal as everyone expects you to drop everything it order to put their stuff on here and I am constantly trying to update several posts on here and build a web page and a Bebo - that was my daughter Lynsey's idea not mine.
Davie I have visited numerous times with my auld yins and we usual stay in the Hotel Admiral in the Langstrasse where the photo was taken outside the Hotel Glasgow...last time i was there it was getting renovated after being derelict for many years. Charly's Bar was in the Campsite in Sluiss in Holland here we went for a couple of days and I have been back there several times as well.

Some I found from the same trip Davy...the Cosy Corner next to the old Hotel Glasgow was one of my watering holes when I was a regular visitor to Ostende. I may be heading over to Ypres and basing myself in Ostende for the Armistice Day Anniversary in November.

Ease up miss mcgoldrick, I do appreciate this site, and it's nice to see your kids doing well, (which was inevitable with the mammy they had, no matter who you married.)
